Too late!  I'd have to do another one!  Bullet trains are much easier to draw.  Minimal detail work.

This is a gorgeous picture and the colors are awesome. The locomotive looks pretty authentic to an actual one. The bellowing smoke effect looks great as does your detail to the grass by the rails.
PG looks superbly done with her body postures showing strength and grace. I love the detail you put into her face and eyes. The body is well done as is her breasts and those muscles have great definition. I like how took away the rope from around her neck and arm. I like how she had her cape in the ealier days with it clasped over each shoulder.

Thanks very much for the positive comments! You've touched on all the aspects of the picture that required thought and extra work.  It has gone through many re-dos to reach this point

Not so big driving wheels = freight locomotive = lower speed than passenger services. However, you must be a railroad specialist to note such details, and because I worked for one, I do. The drawing itself is well made!

Thank you. I hesitate to have P.G. go up against passenger trains. And runaways can pick up a lot of speed on down grades. The engine was intended to be generic, so does not represent a particular railroad. I drew it from memory. The picture is done in pencil, with some paint on P.G.'s face.

Drawn from the memory? Wow, I thought you used a reference, because the details are very accurate. Even very special ones like the gears of the steering!

Little hint for PG: Just fly into the cab, pull back the throttle and push the brake handle to the max instead of standing in front of the train and stop it by pushing against the engine. Of course not so dramatic and glorious looking like the classic superheroine way, but it will avoid a lot of damage and saving money! ;-) But if the brake is also broken (wich is rare because vital systems are redundant built. But it happens.), go on Power Girl!
